Treasury Total Information Processing Support Services 4 (TIPSS-4)

The Total Information Processing Support Services (TIPSS-4) is a multiple award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with specific support service requirements defined at the task order level. The goal of TIPSS-4 is designed to provide the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) / Department of Treasury with state of the art, modern technology services concerning local microcomputer applications to large-scale integrated legacy systems, and newly developed systems, as well as security services and program management.

TIPSS-4 contract employs Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) strategies to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations and maintenance. The vehicle provides services to help the IRS maintain and update its legacy tax systems and current operations as well as support the Department of the Treasury and its Bureaus. The contract has one base year and nine one-year options.
